$2,000 stolen from vehicle in North Haven

Police in North Haven are investigating after officials said $2,000 in cash was taken from a vehicle.

Authorities said this was just one of a number of thefts from unlocked vehicles over the weekend.

Officers added that two vehicles, a 2013 BMW and a 2015 Mercedes, were also taken early Monday morning.

Police said both of the vehicles had their keys inside of them.

Officials are reminding residents to lock their vehicles.
