42nd annual Walk Against Hunger held in West Haven

New Haven

The 42nd annual Walk Against Hunger took place at Savin Rock Park in West Haven on Saturday.

The event got underway at 10:00 a.m. with on-site registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

Walkers who donated or raised $40 or more earned a commemorative Walk Against Hunger t-shirt.

Proceeds from the Walk Against Hunger go towards the Connecticut Food Bank which serves 144,000 people each month.
