911 calls released following reports of loud ‘boom’ in Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials have released the 911 calls people made after hearing a mysterious loud “boom” in Hamden.

Residents reported hearing the sound to police on Monday morning.

“I’m in the kitchen and I just heard this loud explosion. Rattled the windows,” said one caller.Original Story: Hamden police investigating reported loud “boom”

Officials say people have complained about this sound before, but usually in an industrial area.

Police do not know exactly where this “boom” came from and they are still investigating.
