HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)–A taste of Hollywood came to Quinnipiac University on Tuesday night. Emmy-award winning actor and social justice activist Danny Glover spoke as part of the school’s salute to Black History Month.

“It’s about the truth of who we are, what this country is, and emerging out of that truth, hopefully some sort of idea of what we need to do to understand that,” Glover said.

Glover has gained respect for both his wide-reaching community activism and philanthropic efforts.
