Assistant manager steals seafood worth thousands of dollars from Hamden business

New Haven

A North Branford man is facing charges after officials said he stole $800 worth of seafood every week over the past four years.

On April 28th, Hamden police responded to #1 Fish Market at 2239 State Street after receiving a report of a larceny.

Following an investigation, officers stated that 57-year-old Lance Graver. the assistant manager, would arrive early to work on Mondays, take some seafood, and place it inside of his vehicle before working his shift.

Officials said Graver admitted to taking $800 in seafood once a week for four years.

On Oct. 25th, Graver was arrested and charged with larceny.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 8th.
