Big boost for affordable housing in New Haven

New Haven

Nearly $8 million dollars was awarded to New Haven by the state will be put towards affordable housing in the area.

According to the New Haven Register, the Elm City was just awarded nearly from Connecticut. The funding will go towards the development of affordable housing, including 45 units at Farnam Courts

New Haven was one of three cities in the state that was awarded the money. Waterbury and Hartford were the other two cities in Connecticut. Nearly $22 million will be shared across all three states.
