BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Branford Public Schools are getting ready to phase in full, in-person learning starting Monday.

Local elementary schools are the first to go back to full, in-person starting Monday.

Students were given the option to attend in-person school or continue remote learning.

“I believe this is a heavy lift, this is a heavy lift for staff and students. Also I think they’ll be excited when we get into school and the school routine kicks in,” said Hamlet. M Hernandez, Superintendent, Branford Public Schools.

That routine will consist of social distancing, washing those hands, and wearing your mask.

Walsh Intermediate School will be back for full, in-person learning on March 29. And Branford High School will be back on April 5.
