College students hold walkout in support of man living in sanctuary in New Haven church

A man facing deportation has the support of local college students.

Students at Southern Connecticut State University walked out in support of Nelson Pinos on Thursday afternoon.

Pinos has been living in sanctuary in a New Haven church for the past nine months.

Immigration officials have threatened to take him away if he leaves the church.
