All lanes on I-91 south in New Haven reopened after 3 vehicle crash

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) - A three vehicle crash on Interstate 91 southbound in New Haven has been cleared after it closed the two right lanes on Thursday morning.

According to the Department of Transportation, a collision involving a tractor trailer and two other vehicles  shut down the two right lanes on I-91 southbound in New Haven. They say the lane closure was between exits 8 and 7.

The highway has since reopened to traffic but officials are working to repair the guardrail and ask that drivers use caution in the area.

There is no word on the cause of this crash or if anyone was injured.
