Fire crews are on scene of a structure fire at a home in Milford on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to 42 Windsong Lane after a call came in around 4 a.m. reporting the blaze. A neighbor who couldn’t sleep and was going for a walk had saw the flames and then banged on doors to get someone to call 911.
When firefighters got to the residence, they found that the flames had extended to most of the house. They then put up a ladder truck and vented out the roof.

There was no one home at the time of the fire because the house was under renovation.
Fire crews were able to put out the fire pretty quickly and keep the flames from spreading to other nearby homes.
There were no injuries reported but there is heavy damage to the roof of the home.
There is no word on how the fire started. The cause is under investigation as it is suspicious for a fire to break out in a house where no one is living.
