Crews respond to fire in New Haven scrap yard

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Firefighters responded to a late-night fire at Alderman Dow Scrap Yard located at 358 Chapel Street.

News 8 captured smoke billowing over Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in the video above.

The New Haven Fire Department responded around 10 p.m. A firetruck engine, with a ladder extended, is over the flames in the scrapyard.
