New Haven

We have an update to a story we brought you last week.

Derby High School has been getting so many donations for their free prom shop, that they’re now expanding the drive to include kids at neighboring schools.

Seymour, Ansonia, Shelton and Oxford have all been invited to come check it out.

Dozens of businesses and people in Derby have been donating dresses, makeup and shoes for girls as well as tuxedos and haircuts for boys.

Students can pick out what they want and everything is free.

The prom shop is open on Tuesday at Derby High School’s library until 7:00 p.m., and there’s a second shopping session Thursday afternoon.
