Dozens of people on dirt bikes, quads and motorcycles have been terrorizing drivers in New Haven.
The group was recently spotted this weekend.
Frightened drivers told News 8 that the dirt bike riders cut them off in traffic, blocked intersections and even merged from Ella T. Grasso Boulevard onto I-95 at one point.
News 8 also got reports of ATV riders menacing the streets of West Haven this weekend near the beach.

Many police departments have a ban on chasing them. Dirt bike riders apparently know.

She said, at one point, her car was surrounded by dirt bikes for up to five minutes and blocked from moving.
News 8 reached out to West Haven and New Haven police about whether they’re investigating. There has been no response at the time of this writing.
