Drunk driver crashes, lodges vehicle inside New Haven dental office

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A drunk driver in New Haven crashed into a dental office around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

The vehicle was lodged inside the building. New Haven Police say they found the driver in the basement of the commercial building.

Kevin Egan, 20, of Portland, Conn. had minor injuries. He was charged with driving under the influence and is expected in court next week.

The building sustained severe damage.
