Family of victim of fatal fire sues City of New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Fire officials say the fatal fire took place at 150 West Street Wednesday morning.

According to a report from the New Haven Register, a man died in that fire. The victim’s family is suing New Haven for “failure to enforce the fire code.”

The report says two people died along with three firefighters injured due to the house fire.
