Beacon Falls fire crews put out structure fire on Morning Wood Drive

BEACON FALLS, Conn. (WTNH) — Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 responded to a structure fire at a home on 7 Morning Wood Drive Friday morning.

Daytime mutual-aid fire protocol was enacted, which brings in support from Naugatuck Fire Department, Oxford Center Volunteer Fire Company, Bethany Volunteer Fire Department, Citizens’ Engine Co. No. 2, and Great Hill Hose Co. (both of the Seymour Fire Department).

Mark Pinto a firefighter that lives across the street from the home, prepared the fire hydrant. The majority of the fire was knocked down within 20 minutes. Additional crews put out hotspots.

There were no reported injuries to the homeowners or firefighters.
