NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A firefighter was injured as crews responded to the report of a house fire along Ella T. Grasso Boulevard Friday.

The two-alarm fire caused a partial collapse of the three-story structure.

One firefighter injured his hand while battling the blaze.

All 28 residents, 14 children and 14 adults have been displaced as a result of the blaze. Five adults, and six children who resided in the house next door have also been displaced because of fire damage to that building.
