Firefighter injured in New Haven apartment complex fire

A firefighter was injured in a fire at a New Haven apartment complex on Tuesday morning. 

The New Haven Fire Department tweeted that just before 6:30 a.m., they responded to a structure fire at two story apartment complex at 200 Goffe Street.

Firefighters say that there was fire on the first and second floors of the building.

News 8 is on scene where one woman was treated in an ambulance but not taken to the hospital. 

The Fire Chief says that a firefighter also suffered burns to his arm and was transported to the hospital. 

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
