Gil Simmons, Jocelyn Maminta participate in Ronald McDonald House event

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The New Haven Ronald McDonald House held their biggest event of the year tonight, Dancing Under the Stars, and News 8 was there to participate.

Dancing Under the Stars is the charity’s biggest event of the year. It was held at Anthony’s Ocean View.

Six local celebrities danced with six professionals, News 8 Medical Reporter Jocelyn Maminta was a judge, and Storm Team 8 Chief Meteorologist Gil Simmons hosted the event.

A family that has benefited from the services was also at the event.
