Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Introduces New President

The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) is dedicated to leading economic growth across towns and cities located in New Haven county: Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Wallingford, West Haven and Woodbridge.

On Wednesday morning, coming off the heels of New Haven’s 380th birthday, the chamber hosted its’ 244th annual meeting breakfast in New Haven with the mission of “bringing the regional business community together to celebrate advancements, while anticipating the coming year”. The new GNHCC president, Garrett Sheehan, was introduced to a room of 500 attendees of business leaders and innovators. The Middlefield native, who is also a licensed attorney in Connecticut and Texas, traded his life in journalism to improve economic well-being and quality of life for communities. He will be working alongside small businesses and leaders to help the twelve towns thrive.

Special guest attendees included New Haven Mayor Toni Harp who mentioned, “New Haven is well-positioned for a bright future” and excited about the new prospects and opportunities for the city and area with innovation that can stem from activities powered by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.
