New Haven

Hamden Police responded to a robbery at the Dunkin’ on 1950 State Street on Tuesday morning.

Just before 8:00 a.m., police said he entered the business and waited in line. He then handed the cashier a note indicating that he wanted “the money” and that he had a gun, police said. Officials said the cashier handed him an undisclosed amount of money.

The individual was last observed entering a white minivan. Police describe him as a dark-skinned Hispanic male, 5’6″, with a scruffy moustache/beard. He was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans.

Police believe that this man also demanded money from a Shell station clerk on Monday night.

Anyone with information can call the Hamden Police Department Detective Division at (203) 230-4056.
