Jordan’s Furniture to donate hundreds of prom dresses

New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Jordan’s Furniture is donating hundreds of dresses to a New Haven boutique that will be given out for free to young girls looking for a Cinderella moment at their prom.

Jordan’s Furniture delivered 300 prom dresses on Monday morning to the Say Yes to the Prom Dress boutique, which is located on York Street in New Haven.

Jordan’s Furniture ran a collection drive for like-new, gently-used prom dresses and cocktail dresses for girls in need who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend prom due to cost.

The store collected the dresses all through February and March.

Working in conjunction with the Junior League of Greater New Haven, the dresses will be distributed at Project Hope’s pop-up store from April 14th through April 30th.
