The New Haven Fire Department responded to a house fire late Tuesday night that displaced five residents of the home.
According to New Haven firefighters, a call came in at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday for a reported house fire at 41 Stevens Street. The working fire was in a two-story wood structure.
Fire crews say the fire originated in a first floor bedroom and it was contained quickly.
While no injuries were reported, five residents of the home were displaced.
The fire is under investigation.
