Man shot in parking lot of motel on Whalley Avenue in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A shooting at the Regal Inn Motel parking lot in New Haven has left one person with a gunshot wound in the arm.

Police responded to a report of gunshots in the area of 1605 Walley Avenue at 4:13am Monday.

New Haven Police report that a 34-year-old Hispanic man was injured and taken to the hospital. His injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.

New Haven Police are on the scene and investigating at this time.
