Several displaced following 2-alarm Milford apartment fire

New Haven

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Milford firefighters extinguished a second alarm fire at an apartment complex on Foxwood Lane Saturday afternoon.

All fire units were called from Milford with extra help from East Haven and Stratford. Fire officials said the fire is now knocked down.

One firefighter suffered second-degree burns to his hand. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be OK. At least eight units have been affected. The Red Cross will assist those who have been displaced.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
