A battalion fire chief with the New Haven Fire Department has been placed on administrative leave amid an investigation.
New Haven police said Felipe Cordero, 48, was arrested on Tuesday for Criminal Violation of an Ex Parte Restraining Order.
He was released on a $5,000 bond and is appearing in court on Wednesday.
According to Chief John Alston Jr., Cordero is on administrative leave with pay at this time.
Chief Alston Jr. said that the department does not “…comment on personnel matters and ongoing investigations…”
