NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The New Haven Fire Department responded to a structure fire early Wednesday morning.
Fire crews say the location of the working fire is 1800 Dean Street. The report came in around 5 a.m. The fire has been reported to be in the garage and had extended to the home.
No injuries were reported during the response, according to the fire chief. The fire chief also said the home had just been purchased and luggage was found inside. The homeowners will not be able to go back to the home until the damage has been fixed.
The fire was put out soon after.
