New Haven fire officials respond to wood chip fire on Grand Avenue

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven fire officials were dispatched to Grand Avenue for a working fire.

According to the New Haven Fire Department, the reported blaze is located at 481 Grand Avenue. Officials say wood chips are on fire in the transfer station.

The cause of the fire is unclear at this time. A damage report has not been given.
