New Haven Police confirmed a home and garage belonging to the woman at the center of a racist tirade captured in a now viral video was burglarized Monday.
The home owned by Corinne Magoveny-Terrone is located in the 1100-block of Quinnipiac Avenue.
Copper piping was taken from the garage resulting in damage to the ceiling and a wall, according to a police spokesman. Investigators say there was additional damage caused by the burglary.
Police report the burglary occurred between 9:40 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Magoveny-Terrone recently resigned from her job at Hamden Public Schools after video surfaced showing the racist attack in which she screamed the n-word and spit at two African-American customers inside the ShopRite in East Haven earlier this month.
