New Haven man facing deportation looks to reopen case

A New Haven man facing deportation back to Ecuador is hoping to reopen his case this week.

Nelson Pinos has been living inside First and Summerfield United Methodist Church in New Haven for the last 17 months.

His lawyers will be in a Minnesota courtroom on Tuesday arguing for his day in court.

They say he should be given the opportunity to be heard before he is deported.
