New Haven Police: Valley Street home hit by gunfire

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after gunfire hit a home on Valley Street in New Haven on Monday.

Officers responded to Whalley Avenue, between Amity Road and Pond Lily Avenue, for the report of gunfire at around 2 p.m. Police determined the gunfire occurred on South Genesee Street and struck a home on Valley Street.

New Have Police said the home was not the intended target, and no one was injured.
