New Haven PD: Person shot on West Street

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating a shooting on West Street over the weekend that left two victims in the hospital.

Responding officers found two victims, a 61-year-old man and a 39-year-old man who was suffering from gun wounds on Sunday afternoon. American Medical Response brought both victims to Yale-New Haven Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

New Haven Police tells News 8 they received a report of a person shot.

There is no further information at this time.
