New Haven Police investigate shooting on Congress Avenue

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Congress Avenue Wednesday night.

Officers were approached by a woman who said her son was shot and drove himself to Yale New Haven Hospital.

Officers and detectives met the 35-year-old man at the hospital, who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
