The New Haven Police Department will bring diapers that have been collected all month long to the Diaper Bank of Connecticut on Wednesday afternoon.
Over the past month the police department has worked with several communities to gather as many diapers as they could.
The diaper drive will benefit the Diaper Bank of Connecticut, at 370 State Street in North Haven, and Christian Community Action Incorporated, at 168 Davenport Avenue in New Haven.
Officers will deliver them on Wednesday at around 4 p.m., via a police caravan, which means you still have time to donate.
The donation/drop off locations have been the following:
- New Haven Police Department at 1 Union Avenue, New Haven.
- Bridgeport Parole and Community Services at 1052 North Avenue, Bridgeport.
- Gateway Center New Haven Board of Education at 54 Meadow Street.
