“No Tolls” protests continue, this time in Shelton

As debates continue about state-wide tolls, so do the protests.

The latest protest was in Shelton on Saturday afternoon. Around 60 people, including Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti, gathered on Bridgeport Avenue to let their voices be heard.

Governor Ned Lamont says tolls are just one step in the right direction in fixing the state’s budget, and that the earliest tolls will go into effect will be 2020.
