Officials search for missing Hamden teen who may need medical attention

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Hamden police along with officials from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are looking for a missing teenager.

15-year-old Iyanna Mitchell was last seen on Jan. 18 in Hamden.

Officials describe Mitchell as a girl with black hair, brown eyes and a nose piercing. She stands around 5’8″ and weighs approximately 175 pounds.

Police say she may still be in the local area or that she may have attempted to travel to New Haven.

Authorities say Mitchell may also require medical attention.
