Overturned dump truck causes delays on I-95 in Guilford

New Haven

GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–Lanes have reopened on I-95 after an accident in Guilford caused delays for a while. A dump truck and car were involved in the crash around 5:05 p.m. on I-95 northbound.

The accident took place between Exit 57 and 58. The dump truck was overturned, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. A minor injury was reported, but no one was seriously hurt in the crash.

Crews were still working on the scene as of 8:30 p.m.

State police reopened all lanes around 7 p.m.
