PD: Man wanted for armed robberies in Branford, Hamden

New Haven

Officials are looking for a man wanted for two armed robberies.

According to Branford Police, New Haven resident Johnny Doward, 55, was involved in an armed robbery at a local motel in Branford on March 9th.

Hamden Police also said he was involved in an armed robbery at a Hamden motel on March 16th.

Doward is described by authorities as a black man who stands around 5’6″ tall. He was wearing glasses, a black hoodie, a black knit hat, and red puma sneakers at the time of the Branford robbery.

He is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree among other charges.
