PD: New Haven firefighter charged with disorderly conduct amid domestic dispute investigation

A New Haven firefighter has been charged as a result of a domestic dispute investigation.

East Haven police said 46-year-old George Browne was arrested on Wednesday.

He has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Browne was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and was arraigned in New Haven Superior Court on Thursday.

On Wednesday, New Haven Fire Chief John Alston Jr. confirmed to News 8 that he was aware of the matter. At that time, he said that he did not have any details.
