PD: New Haven man shot in leg, hand, and buttocks; suffers non-life threatening injuries

A New Haven man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after having been shot in the buttocks, leg, and hand. 

According to New Haven Police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 1:50 a.m. in the vicinity of Sherman Parkway and West Ivy Street. 

A 911 call later directed officers to a gunshot victim at a home on West Ivy Street. 

Police state that a 20 year old male suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the buttocks, leg, and hand. He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for evaluation.
