Pick-up truck involved in Branford hit-and-run located in Hamden

Branford police have located a pick-up truck that was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident last week.

The Branford Police Department says that they are working with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit in investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened on Sunday, November 4th at around 8:20 a.m.

A 52-year-old Branford woman who was riding her bicycle was struck by a white Ford F-series pick-up truck at the intersection of East Main Street (Route 1) and Featherbed Lane. The pick-up truck then fled the scene.

The woman was seriously injured in the accident but her current condition was not released. 

Police say that that truck involved has been located in Hamden and they thank the public for helping in finding it.

It’s unclear if any arrests have been made.
