Pizza delivery driver carjacked in New Haven

A pizza delivery driver was carjacked in New Haven on Tuesday night.

According to officials, around 10:15 p.m., units responded to 63 Harrison Street.

At the scene, officers learned that the 20-year-old driver pulled up to the address to deliver food.

A man then walked up to his window while two others stood by and ordered the driver to hand over his cash.

The victim emptied his pockets at gunpoint and exited the vehicle.

The three men then got into the vehicle and sped off.

Officials said the driver lost his iPhone, his student ID, cash, and his 2014 black Volkswagen Jetta.

The first suspect was described as a black man in his 30s, standing around 6’01” and skinny. The second had a similar appearance but was a little shorter. The third was only described as a black man.

The vehicle has not yet been found and the suspects have not been located.
