Person killed after being hit by a motorcycle on Friday night in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A person has died after being hit by a motorcycle in New Haven on Friday night. Just before 8 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Norton Street and Stanley Street for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motorcycle.

Police said the pedestrian was attempting to cross the street.

The pedestrian was brought to Yale New Haven Hospital where they were pronounced dead. The driver of the motorcycle was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
