Police seek suspect after Beacon Falls bank robbery

New Haven

Police are looking for a bank robbery suspect in Beacon Falls on Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, around 1:30 p.m., units responded to the Liberty Bank located at 127 South Main Street.

Authorities said a man reportedly entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. The teller then turned over an unknown amount of cash before the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic man who was wearing a dark-colored jacket, a dark-colored knit cap and eyeglasses.
