Crews responded around 4:50 p.m. after the flames broke out at 121 Belvedere Drive.
Firefighters were still on the scene three hours later and expect to remain there for a prolonged period of time.
Officials said that the occupant suffered smoke inhalation.
The structure had previous damage from a fire that had sparked three weeks ago.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
