Police respond to serious crash on Interstate 91 Northbound in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials are responding to a serious motor vehicle accident on Interstate 91 Northbound early Wednesday morning.

According to officials, the accident is between Exits 3 and 5 on I-91 Northbound. Police say only two vehicles were involved and struck each other in a front end collision.

Both drivers, 39-year-old Alex Lopez-Torres of Wallingford and 39-year-old Isa Martinez of Middletown, were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for minor injuries.

Investigation is ongoing. The accident has been cleared.
