Connecticut takes a lot of pride in making some of the best pizza in the country. Now, a Seymour man is getting some national recognition. David Conti recently won the West Coast U.S. Pizza Cup, earning him a slot with the U.S. Pizza Team.
So what’s his secret to making the perfect pie? “I try to use the best ingredients,” Conti says. “I feel that’s an advantage. Every little ingredient we use, we try to get the best possible.”
Conti will compete at the World Pizza Championship in Parma, Italy in April.
