Shelton man arrested for stealing car from Yale Hospital valet

New Haven

A Shelton man is accused of stealing a car from the valet at Yale New Haven Hospital.

59-year-old David Boles was arrested Sunday in East Haven.

Police say Boles stole the car months ago after being released from the hospital.

He told officers the valet attendant mistook him for the owner and gave him the keys.

Boles said he was homeless at the time and needed a way out of the area.
