Shoppers hit the stores of Meriden Mall this Black Friday

New Haven

Shoppers got an early start this Black Friday. Here at the Meriden Mall people are out and about to of course score the best deals.

“So I always come early in the mornings”, says Jenn from Wallingford

“I come early just because each store gets swamped with people”, says Leroy Stuckey of Hartford.

Over 116 million people are expected to shop this Black Friday.

“I’ll be running around crazy today.”

Shopping for electronics, jewelry, shoes…

It’s not  always just the slashed prices that attract people.

An adrenaline rush for many. And for people like Aleija Sanches who are on opposite side of the cash register.
