The storm clean up continues in hard-hit North Haven and right up the road in Cheshire.
Workers have been trying to clear downed trees and get the power back on.
News 8 found a stretch of the Hartford Turnpike with some homes heavily damaged by fallen trees.

Power lines were also scattered across the ground in many areas.
In Cheshire, the town manager said the Bellamy Road area took the brunt of the damage.

Several city and state roads in Cheshire remain closed.
Town leaders stated that the first priority is to clear roads and sidewalks and get power fully restored.
